TrubAI is a behavioural, AI-enabled urban planning and transportation data platform. It analyses both qualitative and quantitative data to identify not just what movement patterns occur in a city but why — giving planners what they need to address congestion systemically, rather than symptom by symptom. The technology has been implemented in partnership with the New York City government. PhineTech consults on the engagement.
Case in point
Hodi was developed for the Gender Violence Recovery Centre. It pairs a mobile application for the people seeking support with an administrative system for the team responding to them. Because of the sensitivity of the work, access control, confidentiality and careful data handling shaped the design from the outset.
Cooperative accounting, school fee structures and case handling each have rules that are not obvious from outside. We learn them before we design anything.
Progress is visible throughout, not revealed at the end. That is how scope problems surface while they are still cheap to fix.
Systems need attention after launch. Our engagements are continuing, so the people who built it are the people who maintain it.
